Saturday, March 2, 2024 is Oriole’s next Obedience Run-through. This is an excellent chance for you to train under the same conditions as:
- our CDSP Obedience trial the next day on March 3,
- our April 6-7 AKC Rally trial, and
- our May 24-26 AKC Rally and Obedience trials!
Opening Date: Pre-registration opens on Friday, February 9, 2024.
Closing Date: Pre-registration closes on Thursday, February 22, 2024
If you do not pre-register, note that day of match entries *might* still be taken for the run-through, depending on the pre-entry.

Where: Oriole Dog Training Club. The match is held on artificial turf in our fully climate controlled clubhouse with plenty of free parking.
How it Works: These are training run-throughs – corrections and most treats are allowed. Electronic collars are not allowed. Please see the House Rules for our policies regarding treats, where dogs may be exercised, etc.
- 3 rings: Novice, Open, Utility
- Judges to be announced
- Bring your own chair
- Limited crate space: you must protect the floor under your crate
- Bitches in season are not allowed in the building
Registration: You may pre-register for the match (see below) for a discounted price. This pre-registration may be performed online or through the mail, however pre-registration payment must be received prior to the closing date listed above. There are no refunds unless the match is cancelled due to weather.
As of this point, day of match registration is also available.
Match Schedule: Registration and check-in from 9:30am-10:30 am.
Judging starts at 10:00am
Cost at the door:
$7 per dog, $5 for additional entry of same dog.
Cost if pre-registered:
$6 per dog, $4 for additional entry of same dog.

Obedience Open Ring Event
(BN, Novice, Open and Utility practice runs)
March 30, 2024
Where: Oriole Dog Training Club. This event is held on artificial turf in our fully climate controlled clubhouse with plenty of free parking.
Beginner Novice ring: Start time: 8:30-10:30
Novice ring: Start time: 11:00-3:30
Open ring: Start time: 8:30-3:30
Utility ring: Start time: 8:30-3:30
Participant information:
Participant run time slots are 10 minutes each and cost $12.00 per run. Payment is made when you signup online. No refunds or credit.
We will open the doors at 8:00a.m. and close the event at 4:00p.m. No walk-in registration will be accepted.
Crating will be available in the arena. Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled run time and check in at the ring table when you arrive.
Note: Participants will have the use of the ring for 10 minutes to train their dog. Timing will be managed for each of the rings. Prompt entry and exit of the ring is expected of each participant. No E-collars are allowed to be used in the ODTC building.

- There is a $5 clean-up fee for accidents that occur on the turf
- Only non-crumbly, non-staining dog treats may be used on the field
- Dogs are to be relieved in designated outdoor areas
- Dogs are to be crated when not working
